L’humanisme à l’ère technologique :
vers une éthique heideggérienne de la parole et de
la technique

Résumé : La réflexion du philosophe
allemand Heidegger sur la technologie et sa Lettre sur l’humanisme
(1964[1957]) pourraient, me semble-t-il, représenter les
bases d’une anthropo-philosophie critique, capable de questionner
et de repenser l’humanisme technologique d’aujourd’hui.
Cette anthropo-philosophie permettrait d’appréhender
l’humain dans toute sa complexité, en tant que producteur
de technique et faiseur de sens. Repenser authentiquement l’homme
signifie essentiellement une ouverture soucieuse sur les possibilités
qu’offrent les nouvelles technologies (ses applications sur
l’homme et l’environnement); une ouverture responsable
dont le but fondamental est de réhabiliter l’essence
humaine. Abstract : Heidegger’s reflections on technology and his Letter on Humanism may very well constitute, in my view, the founding basis for a critical anthropo-philosophy capable of questioning and rethinking technological humanism. This anthropo-philosophy allows for a better understanding of human-beings in all of their complexities, as producers of technology and as makers of meanings. Rethinking authentically the human-being requires primarily a responsible overture to the possibilities offered by new technologies (and their potential applications on human-beings and the environment); an overture whose primary goal is to rehabilitate what is essentially human (or the essence of humanity). |
